Ky-Mani's birthplace in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is one of greatest and most rich Reggae artists. He starred in the classic film Shottas opposite another singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani, who signed with Shang Records for his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son album and songs like Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the most popular song on the British reggae album chart) as well as"Who the Cap (remix), Sensimelia and others all contributed to the rising recognition for his latest generation of reggae. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees to record Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song has been a big hit since 1997. Marley became the first artist to play on stage at Midem in Miami, an international showcase of music. Marley's performance at the Cameo Theatre was broadcast live to 36 countries through the Caribbean News Agency. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bidding war.
