Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina used superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body while in the clinch. Antonina Shevchenko was given an UFC contract following this win. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC during her debut at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious via unanimous decision but was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi via split decision. Antonina recovered from this loss, defeating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler by a rear-naked choke submission. The result earned her the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko lost to Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She fought Ariane Lipski but she was also defeated by Ariane. Then, Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
